so those glaze test boats i made have come out the kiln and I've learned a good deal of fun facts.

from left to right is: 1 coat, 2 coats (on different clay which casted much thicker), 3 coats and 5 coats.

the 2 coat boat was a pre mix casting slip which was way thicker than what i will use for my real boats and i think the thickness of it meant the glaze stuck better so ill cast my boats thick. Also this whole thing proves that my glaze mix is way to thin so i need to wait until its separated and then syphon the water of the top so that i have a much thicker mixture.
